These paintings have been done over the last 10 years, They are all oil on canvass. I have written a poem for each work so I have something to keep when the picture is sold. Each picture has a link to its poem.
I started with Elaborate Details of Emotion back in 2005 about two years after a divorce (This was the first painting in a long time) It all flowed back. I had been writing for my sanity from about 1999 and decided to write something for each painting. The writing is emotive, it is a state of mind, unplanned and unsophisticated.
There are a couple more that I need to still find where I put the pictures I took. Then I need to start painting again.

The artwork used in the poetry is sourced from many different locations and re-interpreted for the poem, I have used pieces to merge and re-create an new picture to support the words. it is not my desire to try and make money from the poetry, its just to share what I experienced and maybe someone else out there might identify with the words or emotions. (If there is any pieces of artwork used in any of the poems that anyone objects to please notify me and I will make the necessary adjustments.)
